Sick Notes. A free to Listen to and download Album by Clivey Macdougall

Chances are you have found this by mistake , so I will bid you a welcome to my 1st and perhaps only release of 2022. Nah, don`t really think so. but anyway it`s a follow up to Toys for Boys which in turn did not receive any oxygen Unlike "3" and " XMAS NOIR"


I say that as things in my everyday life such as getting by ie ( Work ) are making it difficult for me to find time to write and produce at the pace that I have been going at since 2019.

If I cant get things "did" then it wont be out of a lack of desire. We will see. I certainly shouldn't have any trouble looking for inspiration to produce , even if it`s all just a load of negative rambling.

So .... "So seems to be on everybody's lips these days, A replacement for "Look ", no doubt ". After almost 2 years working in a grubby and very busy supermarket and despite the vaccines "3 " Covid caught up with me on the run up to Christmas 21 and hung around til the spring 22. I had real issues trying to both play or sing during this time and well afterwards, and I was hit by severe brain fogging though most folks that know me would always think me more than a bit foggy even on a good day LOL' . Covid , "as it was for my reality " was probably responsible for the the excellently lacking in imagination Album Title, which in turn has been the driving force behind the process on this occasion.

I might have used lots of more imaginative titles to describe what's happening with a very very sick humanoid population of this rock, but really, why bother. We will end up with exactly what we deserve. Karma will see to that, then we`ll be gone and the bloody, lovely planet will be able to mend itself as it has probably done a few times already. The earth is so so old. We. mere blips, if even that.


"So". I find myself with an album which is roughly 50 % instrumental . Also I `ll admit now that massive chunks were improvised and recorded on the fly, including some of the lyrics ha ha. This makes me wonder if I am beginning to revert back to the indietronic vibe which I was into in the 2010`s or whether I will regain the need to pontificate even if no one really seems to give a hoot about lyrical integrity these days.

Re this Album. I kinda enjoyed the process despite being ill most of the time I was working on it , but I also feel that I may take the opportunity to redo things well past the release date as I really don't think its as finished as I could make it. So I`m just going to Hit the publish button and be damned and reach for the Gear4 music guitalele
